Not sure exactly what military vehicle it is, but I thought it was pretty cool.

It's just a tug for towing things like APC Bisons and Cougars that aren't the best at highway driving I think.

It is an old 5-ton.

5 tons don't have that many wheels. It's a tractor-trailer adapted for military use.

What is in the box anyways?

Oh yeah definitely cool.
A few years ago, I was driving on a rural 2 lane highway here in Canada that goes by a military base way further up from where I was.
Then I encountered a Hummer with a banner on the front "Military Convoy".
And a HUGE US military convoy passed us going the other direction, there was probably a hundred or more vehicles of all types. It was honestly the biggest baddest convoy I have ever seen.
It took us 15 minutes to drive past the convoy in the other direction. All sorts of different vehicles. It was awesome!
Plus this area is *really* pro military so everyone was waving at them, it was just a great moment.

Lol, so here's the story. I'm a big fan of the game, Portal. My wife made the companion cube for me. But as to what's inside of it...
When I worked for Publix, I collected used giftcards from the customers. She wanted to make a chess board out of then. The issue was that the cards were rectangular, so she clipped them to be a square. So then she had a bunch of clippings leftover. She also was making the cube at roughly the same time. It was too lightweight, so she put the clippings in it to weight it down.
So to answer your question, pieces of gift cards.

dammit, I thought it was Rasputins left nut or something.
Pretty damn cool chessboard though!

I think your the first person to actually say what it is, lol. My wife made it. If we get a second car, I want a Mario question mark block.

That is simply epic.

Army truck driver here, It's a M915A4 with an M872 trailer. The A4s are cool but the A5s are better (sleeper cab ftw). They are freightliners with the fancy stuff ripped out and painted camouflage.

Army truck driver? You sir or miss, have my respect. *salute*
Anyways, it does look civilian, with camo on it. If it is just stripped out, it makes a lot of sense. It looks barebones.

Weird.. I saw two large 18-wheelers with military cargo vehicles today as well.

Hey, US. You don't need to invade or protect Canada. They are our friends.

Thank you. They are super bare bones but amazingly reliable. I have only seen a few break down.
Here is a pic of the truck I drove for part of my first deployment. It was super raggedy but the speed limiter was off and it always, always ran great. It ended up having to get scrapped after it caught on fire, long story but, not the trucks fault. Even after it caught on fire and we put the fire out I drove it about 25 miles with 1/2 the air brake lines and oil lines gone, and four of the back tires blown out. Every warning light on the dash was on but I drove it just as hard normal and it was a champ. I almost cried when we dropped it at the junk yard. The tan paint around the cab is the armor.

The speed limiter was off? Have to ask, how fast did you get it?
