I bought a used Hi-Lift jack last winter. I thought I better give it a good rebuild and replace the climbing pins and shear bolts. Definitely don't want this to fail when I most need it

Thanks for posting that. It never occurred to me those could be rebuilt. I have a Harbor Freight model so I assume this info will become useful.

it pretty easy. Hardest was cleaning all of the oil/dirt off those hard-to-reach spots

man alive the itch is back, and not the one in my knee pit, I mean the itch to trail. Its like skiing or biking, its comes on fast and strong.

I'm not sure if there is repair kit for the harbor freight models. But I'm sure you can take it apart and inspect and avoid any failed oartsy
