I didn't really love my first car. I loved the freedom it gave me, but the car itself was crap.

The more I think about my statement, you're correct. A friend in HS has an 84 Aries as his first car. In order to prevent it from always stalling he had to keep it above 3300 rpm at all times at a stop sign or light. I'm amazed the transmission lasted in that car as long as it did
