I know. Just watching that clip reminded me of the special effects that went into that film. Hard to believe they used to take on projects that large without CGI

I picked this up on Blu-Ray a while ago for like five bucks. Best value right there. Haven't yet convinced the wife to watch it yet

After watching those clips, I need to own this. Mrs McMike, however.. will never watch it. Her brain would totally turn this into a nightmare, and I wouldn't sleep for a year.
God, those guys freaking out while tied to the chair still makes me laugh today.
The suspense of not knowing who was or was not infected just about killed me when I was a teenager.

I haven't seen it myself. Reviews aren't to nice on it, but they may be too closely comparing it to the original.
Also I just found out The Thing -> Prince of Darkness -> In the Mouth of Madness = Carpenter's Apocalypse Trilogy. I need to watch these in order
