1. Design a sedan.

Kinja'd!!!

2. Cut the sedan design: remove the 'B' pillar, remove the rear door, shorten the wheelbase some, add rear side glass...

Kinja'd!!!

Coupé:

From the French language, past tense of the verb 'couper', "to cut". More on the coupé body style on !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! (makes for an interesting read).

3. Adjust the design a bit as necessary, don't worry too much about rear passengers.

Kinja'd!!!

And voilà, you have a coupé.

A better way -

2) add a roof -

The traditional American version would leave the wheelbase exactly the same.

I like this style of "2-door sedan" as well as the fastback coupes as they each have their own place. The "4-door coupe" is just bullshit.

Nope :p

Just move the B-pillar back a bit (it doesn't actually have to be there, so in that case just move where the B-pillar would go back a bit)
