I just tried to eat one of these. It was the nastiest stuff I ever tried to eat.

Any Hormel ready-made like that is disgusting.

Never trust pre-cooked microwave eggs...

I found that out.

Don't eat this processed crap$kay. It'll kill you if you're lucky and give you cancer if you aren't.

Anything that can be kept on a shelf with meat products of any kind is suspect. Canned goods like soup and chef boyardee a little less so but still suspect.

That already looks revolting...

I believe it now. I've always wondered about it. This was a Kroger weekly freebie. Never again.
![]() 08/05/2014 at 13:56 |

I'll stick with fresh or frozen.
![]() 08/05/2014 at 13:57 |

It looks worse than what they show.

And heating it up it probably took 80% of the time needed to make actual scrambled eggs.
Never ceases to amaze me how our cast-iron pan, when properly oiled and pre-heated, can cook a batch of scrambled eggs in literally a minute and a half.
Bacon is a different story. Though if I want bacon for something later in the week I can always just cook a little extra bacon on the weekend and save it in the fridge for later.

Grandfather brought home some of these exact ones not too long ago, kept edging me to try one. Wasn't impressed with it...
![]() 08/05/2014 at 13:58 |

You got that right. It took one minute.

Yeah I have a friend that eats those Dinty Moore meals and they always smell like wet dog food to me. I imagine they taste like it but I've never eaten wet dog food.

Eww.
![]() 08/05/2014 at 13:59 |

I'll never try another one.

I think wet dog food would probably taste better than this crap.

I've always wondered about them...............never again.
![]() 08/05/2014 at 14:03 |

I bet that's not the nastiest thing that's been in your mouth though....

"Hormel-Not Even Once"

*cough, cough*

Well that's what you get for attempting to eat frozen breakfast food at 2pm! =P
![]() 08/05/2014 at 14:08 |

12pm for me, and I like breakfast anytime. :D The thing being it isn't a frozen product. It's just on the shelf.
![]() 08/05/2014 at 14:12 |

Breakfast is one of my favourite things to eat for dinner.
![]() 08/05/2014 at 14:17 |

You outlaw you! I bet you even eat breakfast for dinner. Damnit, now I want waffles tonight.
Anyway, my rule is not to eat food that I don't understand. Refrigerated pre-packaged breakfast food fits solidly within that category.

Those look super gross. And they are EXPENSIVE. I mean seriously, shouldn't they be like 69 cents?
![]() 08/05/2014 at 14:19 |
|
Me too. For breakfast, I have a quick bowl of Cheerios because of time.
![]() 08/05/2014 at 14:20 |
|
Waffles..........yum!
![]() 08/05/2014 at 14:21 |
|
I too think they're expensive, that's why I only got one because it was free. Never again.
![]() 08/05/2014 at 14:57 |

I thought we got rubbish on supermarket shelves here until I went to America. Ye gods!
![]() 08/05/2014 at 14:59 |

There's about as much nourishment in the packet as there is in the contents.
Or was that cornflakes?
![]() 08/05/2014 at 15:00 |

Yeah, breakfast itself is usually just fruit and yogurt or something easy. Breakfast for dinner on the other hand....over easy eggs, avocado, some good toast. maybe some sausage and hash browns if I'm feeling especially gluttonous.
![]() 08/05/2014 at 15:00 |

No kidding. It's terrible.
![]() 08/05/2014 at 15:01 |

Both.
![]() 08/05/2014 at 15:01 |

Sounds good to me!
![]() 08/05/2014 at 15:20 |

I doubt even an airline would serve that to the cheap-seat flyers.
Very nasty. Hahaha
![]() 08/05/2014 at 15:28 |

It didn't taste like eggs, bacon or potatoes, and it had a real weird texture. *shudder*
![]() 08/05/2014 at 15:36 |
|
I've had "eggs" before that had the weirdest rubbery texture, I'm pretty sure that they were made out of several different types of plastics.
![]() 08/05/2014 at 15:38 |
|
Maybe they were from a rubber chicken.
![]() 08/05/2014 at 15:55 |
|
They were about as close to real eggs as a rubber chicken is to a real chicken, so that's probably 100% correct.
![]() 08/05/2014 at 15:59 |

Sounds yucky.
