Someone is selling RPF1s in 17x9 with MPSS for 1100 dollars. Now mind you, the tires alone(brand new) cost 800 bucks. . . not mounted.

Oooooh those are pretty, and looks like they have plenty of tread.
So...if you DID what application would they go on? Just hypothetically

It's an index card with the guy's username and the date, so you know it's not a fake post trying to scam you.

To show you that the wheels can support paper? I think it has writing on it proving it is his wheels.

I usually try to ignore tires in purchasing wheels, you never really know the condition. But RPF1's with what at the worst should be some good tires for a short time sounds like a good deal.

Not unless you have a 5x100 bolt pattern! Isn't a Mustang like 5x108?

I am thinking about it too. Although, I could pay 400 bucks more and get new Bridgestone RE-11As which are grippier and wheels in the color I want.

It would be a daily driver with 1 to 2 autocrosses a month. I would like some RE-11As but I can't have anything with a deal like this.

Yeah, spending the extra money for what I really want is the only thing dissuading me.

Brand new RPF1s in that size aren't much more like 1157 or something. He says about 60% thread left, which is quite a lot.

Pretty much all five-lug Mustangs ever have a 5x4.5" pattern, aka 114.3.

That is a very nice bolt pattern! Tons of wheels to choose from.

Yep, you're right. Usually in forums, admins require a timestamp (the paper), with the time and the forum poster's names to prove that they have the product and they're not going to scam someone.
