So the Miata still has a 1/2 tank of gas left in it, but it's nearly two weeks old gas since I let it since for a week while the new window tinting dried. The best course of action would be to drive hard and go on a trip to drain all the bad gas out. This would be a golden opportunity for anyone wanting a reason to drive. However, I don't really feel like it because I don't like driving aimlessly without a reason, I prefer having a destination that I can get lost going to rather than getting lost with no idea of where to go. I dunno, I'll find a way to get down to 1/4 tank before Monday.

So pick a destination? Maybe go get lunch somewhere?

Theres nothing wrong with "2 week old gas". My truck often has has a month to 3 months old gas in it.

My car's been acting funny on start up since this gas. Sometimes it takes an extra second of cranking for it to fire up or when it does fire up, the idle varies between 1.3k to 2.0k for about four seconds before it settles back into its normal idle speed.

This is why I use ethanol free gas. In the winter my fr-s will go months between fill ups. That e10 shit starts to turn sour after about 2 weeks

Gas is probably old by the time you buy it...don't worry about it
