Why do all of the (admittedly few) crosscabs I see have the top up? It's like the owners just got a deal they couldn't refuse and are secretly embarrassed that they ended up owning a massive crossover with a soft-top... I know I would be!

Saw one driving home from work the other day, with the top down. Surprised the hell out of me. And to be honest, I don't think it looked that bad.

I know some people like the ride height, but they seem like a catastrophic waste of space compared to something like a 3/4 series convertible, which would have better fuel economy, look better, drive better, be faster, weigh less, and potentially be more practical (if a bit more expensive to maintain)for about the same MSRP...

My neighbor always has the too down on hers... ...Except for when it's raining. ;)
