This is crazy but why the hell not.
I'm broke and in college. If you're within a 100 miles of DC, please read
If you have... any DSLR equipment, photo gigs, old cars, crappy cars, ehehehe Mustangs , vintage clothes, old clothes, random Vynls, crap, watches, music equipment, econoboxes, backpacks, work pickups, working power tools, ladders, computers (2007+,) school supplies, canned goods, anything you would want to give to a photographer/Jalop with a good head whose eager for opportunities (and a heart to help the local low-income communities.)
If you have anything with a running motor, A) I'll fix it up and give it one of the many needy families I know B) I'll scrap it for parts and save the money for school/funding further donations.
If you have anything with the words Canon or Nikon on it and you don't know what to do with it, let me know. If you're trying to sell anything, don't have an iPotato or a DSLR, and need a decent selling picture for CL/Ebay/Cars, I'll take the pictures/help find a new home for it.
Anything I receive will be primarily considered for routing to charities and organizations I have personal connections with in the area, as well as a El Salvadorian family in Alexandria of 4 (with two new additions,) who are in desperate need of a car and/or computer.
Goals? (In priority)
1) Help needy families (local NVCC students, immigrants, - people whom a car or a laptop would make a world of difference for them and their children, etc.)
2) Flip old crap for $$ for my school, and needy families
3) Photo equipment for my photography business
4) Possible roject car
5) Fun
Thanks! Recommend please. I won't waste what I'm given. We all know that in the DMV, there are those who have way more than they need who live side by side with those who barely get along.
