I spotted this a while back. The Kemp's Dairy "Bring the Freshness Home" VW Beetle with a big cow stuck on the back. It has— gasp —Minnesota plates though.

That is hilarious.
I saw a matte black water cooled Beetle today. No SR20 because was driving.
I guess painting your new age Beetle matte black makes it more manly?

Dairy advertising is so weird. I can't wait for someone to invent an advertisement that doesn't try to make cows, which are inherently ugly creatures, seem cute.

From everything I've heard about Wisconsin, I've come to the conculsion that it's a strange and magical place filled with weird people. In other words, it sounds like the place I belong.

I've been there once and through a couple times, it's not that exciting. I think Minnesota is better. (family bias)

Having grown up in Northern Illinois (before I went South), this sounds about right for Wisconsin *and* Minnesota.

I've lived in Wisconsin for many years, but didn't grow up here, so I feel particularly qualified to expound on Wisconsin's virtues. We have the following things in abundance here in Wisconsin:
White people
Beer
Cheese
Frozen Custard
White people driving slowly
Corn
Farms
White people putting too much dairy on everything
Lakes
In all my years here in Wisconsin though, the one thing that I appreciate the most is quite possibly Murphy Farms hand-rolled butter.
It's special stuff. "Something Special from Wisconsin," in fact.

They may have been been inspired by the Oscar Mayer wienermobile, since Oscar Mayer HQ is here in Madison.
