I've been thinking all day, and I've had a change of heart.

I guess I don't have to leave here, or rather take a break, even if it is for short while. After hearing the story of SR20; I didn't really fuck up as bad as I thought; I still fucked up though. But damn, did that incident screw me up for a while and give me much to think about; time to move on I suppose.

Many apologies go out to anyone I may have caused stress to or anyone who worried, if anyone did.

So yeah, I'll be sticking around, and I'll see you all tomorrow.

A little story; over the weekend, a kid I graduated with was in a drunk driving incident and ended up killing a friend of his. I wasn't there so I don't know what really happened, but from the news reports he was driving drunk, his femal friend demanded to get out of the car and walk home because she didn't feel safe, he wound up hitting her with the car while she was walking down the road, I presume while pleading with her to get back in.

Now at face value, you see a headline like this, "Long Island man accused of DWI, running over friend", and the natural reaction is to get angry, and this is something that is exaggerated when the anonymity of the internet is factored in. Sure enough, the facebook comments on the links to this story are endlessly bashing him and wishing death on him(he's on suicide watch now from what I understand). I didn't know him well, we were more acquaintances than friends, but I knew him enough to know that this isn't the sort of thing he would ever do intentionally, he just wasn't that kind of person and I believe this was just a tragic accident. That doesn't excuse his guilt in the situation, but it taught me something about the way we react to stories like these. In this case, I sympathize with the accused because I know him, but many times I've seen similar stories and made comments like these people did, or at the very least thought it to myself.

On the internet it is very easy to bash others for what you perceive as an injustice or whatever. It's almost like a form of porn, getting up in arms over what someone said or did on the internet or news, it's like a way for people to justify their own wrongdoings and short comings. I've done many horrible things in my life, so what right do I have to judge other people and try to take some moral high ground like I've never made a mistake?

Anyway, my point is just that it's the internet, people will react to things but then they'll forget about it when the next injustice comes along. I've been hated on a few times here, mainly for my own bashing of cyclists, but I own that, accept the flaming, and move on. It's just the internet, something I use to escapw from life, it's not actually important.

I didn't see the incident that caused all of this, and while I am curious as to the actual details, it doesn't really matter. For as many people as were apparently flaming you, just as many if not more have no idea what's going on (like me). I'm glad to see that you're staying. I enjoy your contributions and am especially looking forward to more of your 911 generation series.

Some guy that lied about having a Lotus Espirit when he really didn' and showed the car via really crappy photoshopping. I've been told that he's come back a few times, but he's not around anymore from what I can see.

Hence why we now have this SR20 joke with pictures. :P

The 458 is not ze target. The sub-918 but above GT2 mid-engine Porsche will compete with ze 458 replacement.

Porsche is about technology and wörk

The cars will compete when it comes to performance but they will go about things a different way. Having engines in the front will be the only thing they have in common.
