That's what I gather from people who've actually driven a Tesla.

I watched the one here take off from a light, not the fastest launch but the fact it doesn't need to shift makes about even out. Pretty awesome car in my opinion. First world problems for sure though.

Haha, idk, I'll send her a car. This is exactly why she can't have a diesel either. I figured maybe 5 days before she fills it with gas.
