Mainly because I haven't been able to sell my 240sx, so I haven't been able to buy a truck to flip, so I can buy another truck to flip, so I'd have enough profits from the three flips to pay off my Mazda3 and get rid of it, thereby paving the way for me to give the wife my 500, and purchase one of two amazing '90s cars...both of which I very much desire. My choices, you ask in your mind....well...have a peek.
First choice: Alfa Romeo 164 (preferably an S)...I have owned one before, getting rid of her is one of my biggest regrets, and I want another, badly.
Second choice: An E36 M3. I've always wanted a BMW, never owned one, and it just so happens that the E36 M3 falls into the price range I'll be looking at...it may not be an Alfa, but it IS an M3, and a new experience to boot...
Two very Jalop cars, to be sure, I wish I could have both, and I suppose I could if I got rid of my Fiat 500 instead of letting my wife drive it...but I also love my Fiat. My budget no longer allows for a 3rd car......
BECAUSE WE'RE HAVING A SECOND CHILD!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
I guess this kinda serves as the announcement for that too, then. :)

Well, it has a couple of things working against it, namely mileage and that it's a goddamn autotragic, BUT someone's coming to look at it tomorrow, so maybe I'll get lucky. And thanks, we're hoping for a girl this time!

First off, Congrats!!!! That is very very cool news. Second, I know what you feel, I also am in the process of selling a used car, and a woman actually offered me $35 dollars. But, there is a guy that finally told me he had the money and would only have to get the missing $400 dollars on monday. I have to sell my car to be able to buy a new one

People are nuts. One guy asked me straight up what I wanted for my 240 (it's pretty clearly marked both on the car and on every ad I posted that it's $3500, so right off the bat I knew either A: He didn't read any of the info, or B: He had no intention of paying anywhere near that and was fishing for my bottom dollar) so when I say 3500, he says man, with that mileage on an old Nissan it isn't worth that much, I'm at 850 bucks. I literally laughed at him over the phone, and inquired if he knew what the book value of a beat to shit Nissan 240sx was, when mine's pretty clean, and he goes "yeah it's like 500 bucks like any Nissan, so I'm giving you a good price" I wanted to reach through the phone and throttle him, but instead I calmly explained that if he was going to be shopping for a car, he really should do his research properly, and not just assume it's "some Nissan"
