It's a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! with a 2.8l turbodiesel engine, aka CRD.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

I've always been a fan of the looks of the KJ Liberty, and this one's got a diesel under the hood.

165hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. Unfortunately, it was prohibited from being sold in Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts, New York, and California, so I'd imagine it might be challenging to get it registered in one of those states.

Still, it looks to be a pretty good deal. $15k, under 57k miles, and an efficient diesel engine. NPoCP?

Yeah, they say that's the problem with this engine. Good initial get up and go, but once it gets going...meh.

Zero to 60 in a little over 10 seconds.

That's not awful. I figured it would be better because I thought these things were light, but then I looked and saw they weighed 4300lbs with the diesel and thought it would be more like 15.

CP! We bought our 2006 with all options and 66k miles for 13.5K..... and it is slow and terrifying to drive.

CP, engine parts are hard to find. We sold a used Renegade not too long ago and it came back within the year, "totalled" by its engine, and was traded on a Durango.

They actually make programmers for them, so that would help a little bit.

That's a definite improvement, but I count an 8 second 0-60. Not awful, but still not really quick. I guess that's not the object of a Jeep diesel though, is it?

That's pretty competitive with pretty much any non-sports car today. With the exception of the Camry, which is actually fast as fuck for a N/A fwd car.
