Q: How much chrome does an old man's Chrysler PT Cruiser need?
A: All of it.
The flame pinstripe is a nice touch.
Also, this thing is a 2001 and he only managed to put 67k miles on it... yet it's still falling apart.

Maybe I'm old, but I don't hate that on that car. I think that might be because the things this car was modeled after actually did have a lot of chrome, so it doesn't look that out of place here.....still though...it's a PT Cruiser....

I may have been blinded, where do you see it falling apart?

Appearence-wise it's all there. Mechanically it's a disaster.

I saw a '90s Regal on the highway near Saratoga Springs today with wide chrome body side moldings from fender to quarter panel. At first glance, I thought they might be degaussing cables, which led me to ponder why a Buick would need to be degaussed. They were quite poorly attached too, flipping and flopping around at speed.
