Split the difference. BMW Motorsports drivetrain, atmospheric inline 6, rear drive, manual gearbox, 2-seater, coupe, fastback hatch... and comes in yellow. Arguably closer to to the original Z formula than the 350Z or 370Z, with their V6s...

I wish they would come up with something in the same spirit of the 280Z, but it seems that will never happen again.

Definitely closer to the Z Formula than the 350Z or 370Z. I love the roofline on that car! The hard top look is always better. A coworker has a Z4M Roadster and its an awesome car but the hardtop is always the better answer.
