Had a pretty great time shooting photos and watching some amazing cars get flogged. Haven't had time for crops and retouches yet, so these are pretty raw. More pictures later. I have 44 emails in my inbox from the couple days I took off.

A www...44 whole emails from a couple days off.

I kid I kid, we all know email hell sucks, regardless of how many you have to sift through. I'm legitimately jealous. I've never been to the Hawk, but have been to the fall event a number of times. Unfortunately, I'm like 16 hours away from Road America now.

Looks like some good iron...and carbon...and various other materials...on track.

The other thing is that they invade the town at night. Friday night all the Race Cars some screaming in and park around the streets for photo ops and a chance to meet the teams. Saturday night is all the local classics and collector cars which are... rather nice.

Oh nice. For as small as Elkhart Lake is, I've managed to get halfway lost downtown. There's a great restaurant on the square, can't think of the name, but I've eaten there a few times. Granted, you can't beat a Siebkins sandwhich and a Spotted Cow.
