Grandma is thinking about getting rid of her 2009 Hyundai Genesis sedan since it is having a few "bugs" and shes weird like that. So she wants a fully loaded midsize sedan thats around $30,000. Also being up in NJ, she wants AWD now. So I figured this was perfect. It has EVERYTHING in it! We will also look at the Mazda 6 (but no AWD) and a leftover 2014 Volvo S60 T5 AWD thats on extreme discount since its a leftover. Anything I missed?

Sounds like a good one! The Volvo would be better though, Haha.

I think so too but the only issue is that the Volvo doesn't have everything like BLIS, Adaptive cruise control, and (very important to her) built in navigation.
But LOOK AT THIS PRICE!
Its still wrapped in plastic!!!!
As someone whose dad has a 2012 S60 I really recommend it!

Ford Fusion Titanium AWD is in the same general price ballpark as the Legacy 3.6R. If she wants the same basic car but fancier, or she insists on a V6, there's also the Lincoln MKZ.

her car history is actually really crazy and enjoyable. A few years back, before she got the Genesis, she leased a brand new Mercedes S500. And shes a single lady with no kids or anything. She hated the car soonafter. I told her about the Genesis since it was new at the time and she likes it a lot. Now, she just wants to upgrade to something and she doesnt like the RWD in the snow.
She said no to the inline 4 since she doesnt want to give up power. 256 HP, this thing isnt a slouch. I couldnt believe that.

You know I completely forgot that you could get the Fusion with AWD. here in Fl they dont carry any AWD things unless you special order them.
I know she used to hate Fords but its been a while. the dealer is right around the corner from her house so its worth stopping in.

Even though it's not AWD, a fully loaded Passat runs right around 30.

That is another good one to consider but I do find the styling just a little bland. Even though it is huge on the inside!
That and the fact that she'd want the V6 (she doesnt want the next car to seem like a downgrade from her V6 Genesis) so Im looking at around $35,000 for it to be a loaded SEL.

256 is pretty close to my '14 WRX. I'm guessing the Legacy has a few pounds on it but yea, that will move pretty well.
