Question for you down below. It's related to one of the pictures. Actually, anyone that knows the answer to this can answer!
How good is the original Porsche Rust-proofing. How's it work and how good/effective is it? Give me some detailed and long answers here! :D

That's a very detailed video no doubt. But that doesn't answer my question in regards to rust proofing and it's effectiveness and durability and such... -_-
Still a good watch though.

Porsche 944s were all galvanized from the factory. unless they have been in a shunt or have been poorly maintained, the main bodies won't rust. the main rust spots are below the taillamps and in the front panel between the pop-ups.

Could you point to it on these pictures perhaps, exactly where it is on there they'll rust?

First thing, I love the pic of my 1987 944 rally car at NEFR 2013!! Second, I have owned 924/931/944s since 1990. My 1982 931 has seen many PA winters and has zero rust, my 944 rally car is driven almost daily and has never had a rust issue and I have several parts cars and spare shells that litterally sit in the weeds and have zero rust! One thing is for sure, they werent made in the USA or by Subaru!! HAha..

I didn't know you were looking for a Porsche. I saw one months ago, under $10k. Good condition too.

I was gonna jump on the Porsche that I saw, but I read up on it. Apparently it costs a lot to maintain yearly, plus the clutch was different. I think something was made maybe with rubber? Which lent itself to breaking easily or something....
So you bought it then?

Clutches arent near as bad as people make them out to be! me and 2 others can do a clutch in under 4 hours... Hell I blew my engine on the first stage of STPR 2014 and we completely rebuilt it and were back in the race overnight

Nice!! I like that one best out of all the picks I posted. I'm got this one for $2900 with 118k miles and all new parts; belts, hoses, gaskets and whatnot.

Ah, man! Well, I saw it before joining Jalop/Oppo, so I couldn't ask everyone's expert [read: awesome] advice. It was probably for the better anyways, I need a 4 door car for the family, lol.
