What a weird looking contraption. Are these a thing in America?
Oh, and what are the red and yellow switches in the middle and low down on the dash?

Is there a bonafide legitimate use for this vehicle? What sort of person needs a pickup truck for daily pickupy use that is also capable of towing 20,000+ lbs?

if I had to guess they look like those of an air brake system you'd find on a big rig or school bus

Probably for the airbrakes

It's a medium duty truck, what'd you expect?
I've not seen one of these that was done with a SuperCab instead of a Crew Cab before either. Generally you've got to go knock on the door of a big conversion company to get the cool interior.

Clearly you've never had to haul your herd of life-sized concrete Hippos to the park to play every morning...

I was just thinking the exact same thing.
And it looks hideous.

I wonder how much the reserve is.

google, google...
Yes, that's it. American trucks all seem to have red and yellow knobs, others manage without and have a lever instead.
Here we go, American Volvo first then everyone else's:

Probably way too high.

I asked Mr Google earlier.
Here we go: The colours must be a regulatory thing because they're not used on my side of the pond.
