I want a slick, quality tool roll. Preferably something like waxed cotton.

The one pictured is nice but only comes with all the tools, which I don't need, and is also $ 275, which I don't want to spend.

Anyone else have a rollup they would recommend?

You may want to check craigslist or hit up some yard sales. I've found some pretty good deals on bike gear... by the way, is that bike yours?

Haha, I wish. No bike for me yet; possibly a Monster next year though. I know a guy.

That style is very popular with some groups of cyclists. You might want to check out Rivendell Bikes ( http://www.rivbike.com/product-p/batw… or ) or Acorn Bags ( http://www.acornbags.com/rollbag.html ). Pros: they are really nice and will probably last forever. Cons: $35-$70 is still a lot of dough for a cloth pouch, even a classy indestructible one. And, dealing with the vendor might be a bit trying, as they're about as hipster/fixie/whatever as can be.

I actually made my own from denim salvaged from an old pair of jeans. Works quite nicely; in fact I've thought about making them to sell*, but I chose not to because they can be had for so cheap on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Arsenal-57…

That looks pretty solid - I'd like pockets on both sides for MOAR TOOLS, but this may do.

Cool!

Also, +1 for being able to sew. I wish I could, especially with the number of clothing items I managed to destroy on a regular basis.
