...this evening, indeed it was a kinda automotive epiphany for me... I was seated outside in my preferred Pizzeria, looking at the street while drinking a half pint of draft beer and waiting for my pizza with salsiccia (sausage) and !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , while a black, perfectly restored 1951 FIAT 500 C Topolino (Mickey Mouse) downshifted in front of me... it sure had a modified engine, from the sound of its little four banger and too soon disappeared around the corner, so that I couldn't take a picture... it was exactly same as my Granpa's, except for the tuned (and most probably illegal - that's why it disappeared) engine. It was just like this one:
Then, after sweeping my pizza and after an espresso with a side Fernet Branca, I was going to leave and pay when a 1945 Moto Guzzi 500 single head (bam, bam, bam, bam...) with sidecar passed just in front of me... bloody fuck, no pic as well.. but it was just like this:
Dunno... may be there was a classic cars and bikes meeting of which I was not aware...

If there is a meet, it's worth investigating.

Back when I moved to Porto Alegre in 2009, every other Sunday I'd get to see several older and classic cars drive by my street, and it turns out there is a classic car meetup at a mall two blocks away. It's always worth investigating!
