I'm not entirely sure how I feel about the Miata still, but I think it's becoming positive.

Now I just need to drive one.

And see if I can fit in it with the roof up.

Yah, the seat foam and whatnot would make a difference. It sounds like if you're around my height (6'4) then you'd have to see if tall person mods have been done. I'd like to drive one also.

Pretty much. If I wanted to drive something so small that no one could see me.... I'd just stick with my motorcycles AND actually go fast ;)

Daily a miata, can confirm you're invisible. I think back before the suv boom it wouldn't have been so bad but your below half of vehicles on the roads beltline.

Go to an autocross in the rain and hop in. I sat in one roof up with my helmet on and I'm 6'0" and I fit so I bought one. The difference on the drivers side though is the door pull makes clutch operation a pain in the ass. Had to remove mine before the title was even in my name. Other than that I fit ok with a foamectomy and the door pull removed.

So many modifications to just fit.

It's two things. Door pull is removing two screws and a handle. Foamectomy was already done so I can't guarantee that I even needed it.
