The U.K.'s Royal Air Force strapped on some GoPro's to this Typhoon fighter and let loose their jet jockey to demo some of its extraordinary capabilities. Flight Lieutenant Noel Rees is this year's Typhoon demonstration pilot where he entertained the crowds at the Royal International Air Tattoo at Fairford in Gloucestershire, England

The Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) is the world's largest military air show, held annually over the third weekend in July in support of The Royal Air Force Charitable Trust. The show typically attracts a total of 150,000 to 160,000 spectators over the weekend.

The Eurofighter Typhoon is a twin-engine, canard-delta wing, multirole fighter. It is a highly agile aircraft designed to be most effective when in a dogfight with other aircraft. Later variants have received additional equipment to perform ground strike and reconnaissance missions. The Typhoon has take the primary role of air defense in the majority of countries that operate the aircraft.

Ooh, I was at this airshow! I took a bunch of photos, here's a link to them on Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/9188038…

I only got one shot of the Typhoon, when it was flying alongside the Spitfire. All other times it was too damn fast for me to capture!

Great pictures! Thanks for sharing. Love that alot of those aircraft are still wearing their Tiger Meet paint schemes. That Catalina PB4Y looks amazing as does the polished Lockeed Electra. Just gorgeous!

Also, looks like you recently visited Colorado. Loved seeing our flag and sign in your collection of pics. How'd you like the visit? That's my home state, and other than some time in the military I've been there my whole life. I live about twenty minutes from DIA, which is where im sure you flew in and out of.

Hahaha that's really strange, I dont see them scrolling through your pictures again. But, yesterday, when I was clicking through them one by one, there was one pictures of the CO flag, and then another of the sign that says Welcome to Beautiful Colorado on the border with another state. Very odd!

this is almost the opposite of a pilots eye view. More of a view of the pilots eyes (except they are covered)

"The Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) is the world's largest military air show, held annually over the third weekend in July in support of The Royal Air Force Charitable Trust"

I question that fact... definitely not based on number of spectator as the Miramar Air Show, as an example, attracts up to 750,000 guests every year.

Agreed the camera angles weren't so hot, but music? Come on.....keep the Kenny Loggins or cheesy EDM out of it.
