It was a day for ze Germans at the Gilmore Auto Museum yesterday. I took a few pictures while I was there. Some real classic in the museum itself. The show had some nice cars but it was open to *any* german car so you'd see a bone stock base model Mk6 golf next to a westfalia next to a mk4 stanced jetta next to a super beetle in the VW area. It was a bit.......odd. But anyways, here are the museum shots.
Mercedes coupe/roadster
Gotta love that instrument panel.
Hudson hornet of course.
Doors that can open either way.
Apparently this hudson was assembled using a special coachbuilt body from switzerland and shipped to argentina.

Hudson delivery van. I want.
This is the best limo ever. Of all time. It has everything modern luxury limos have and then some.
Navigation.
Drinks/drugs/food (the tins had engraved containers for things such as aspirin, chocolate, and other odds and ends plus shot glasses and liquor)
Plenty of luggage

The Gilmore is a fantastic car museum. Huge collection with something for everyone. Went there for a muscle car show a few years back & was greatly surprised this place existed in The Middle of Nowhere, MI.

Nope, my own project is dead right now. And it might be sold in the future. I don't have the space and equipment for it.

Damn! They tried to suck us in as we were driving past, but we didn't want to get caught in the show. We talked to the owner of the red 964 and he said he was only in the show by accident :P
