Thank god this shit is over and done with. Between ridiculously cheap RAM, good GC and page files (or swap if you're a *NIX user) I haven't seen a "not enough memory" error in decades.

Horrifyingly enough, I've heard stories of some places that still use Windows 95 machines because they're too scared to switch to a new software vendor after the vendor they used back in the 90's went bankrupt.
So they just kept using the software. Forever.
