Rebuilt the carburetor and while I was at it I was installing an electric choke kit. This stupid little screw means I have to buy a new electric choke kit. Fuck

Right in the middle of that flat spot. I broke the head off a tiny screw.

That must've been quite the string of expletives.

I've done the electric choke conversion on that carb before. That little brass screw is a bugger. Try getting it out with pliars or by cutting a slot in it and using a flat head screwdriver.

Some suggestions have already been made. There's gotta be a way.
Drill it out and tap it with an upsize screw? JBweld with mechanical backup of some sort? Drill two new holes to either side and tap them (dunno what the attachment piece looks like.)
My inner MacGyver/Goldberg is tingling.

I tried drilling it out, but the shaft is aluminum and the tiny screw is steel. The bit drifted and put a nice hole through the shaft. A new choke kit has been ordered so that little screw was rather expensive.
