With nothing to do since the network is down, and the database I work in is only online.

Find some Amish, they're good with that shit.
As for me, I'd draw a plan in paint, but I'm not sure you'd like the outcome.

< Obligatory encouragement of Scrambler post >
One of the guys who worked at our post office had a pickup-kitted Scrambler, and a friend had one with a full-length top. They be nifty.

this house has two gambrel roof that intersect where there is a rectangular tower with a pyramid roof. A gambrel is a pain in the ass alone, then add in the pyramid tower and its a nightmare. the corner rafter need unicorn dust to all come together with the right dimensions.
its changed a bit since this was done, the small projection on the right is now a huge gambrel instead of the small gable

As this house appears to live at the intersection of "Barn", "Georgian", "Antebellum", and "WTF", I think you're entitled to punch the original architect or at least the customer in the kidneys.
My dad was a general contractor for years, but I didn't go the architect route. This still makes me cry.
