Well, there's the theory exam, test and medical for the truck licence - or do you need these in America?
Parking may be a tad difficult too.

I think you can register a truck as an RV over here if you intended to use it for non commercial personal purposes.

That is fantastic. I personally love the Western Star 4900 so I squee'd when I saw that it was being used as Optimus Prime in the new Transformers film.

I was blown away to see that was a Western Star!! Other than Kenworth, I do find Western Stars crazy awesome. I don't think I've ever seen the same one more than once.
