They might still be owned by a malaysian company, something like DHB Haicom. I dont think they are owned by proton any more, and havent been for a couple of years. I live in Norfolk, about 30 mins from Hethel (Lotus factory) so the sale and then management change and etc was big new round here, as they employ quite a lot of people round here.
