Called a neighbor on running 4 stop signs tonight...

Apparently I'm an asshole.

I was driving the last mile or so home from work tonight and as I entered the neighborhood there was a black RX8 behind me. My neighborhood is usually full of people walking dogs and stuff (I see my wife frequently) when I get home, so I like to try to keep it around the speed limit.

RX8 driver was apparently in a hurry, so she passed me on a residential street, and then put the hammer down. She then ran 4 stop signs. I followed and caught up with her pulling a U turn in the middle of the road. I rolled my window down and asked if she was lost and she said no, she lived in the neighborhood. Then I asked if she recognized stop signs. She said she did know what a stop sign looked like and called me an asshole.

I won't deny it, but I don't think she had enough information to go on to make that judgement.

I once had issues with a neighbor like that. I sent a letter to my congressman and the local police station. Couple weeks later had a officer watching the area and caught more than a few idiots doing things they shouldn't have. I would give it a shot. I am guilty of driving fast but have never done it in residential areas or on busy freeways. Time and a place for everything. But endangering others is idiotic and pathetic

Holy fack, a hit and run????? Who will hold the f*ck-ups of this world accountable? We don't ever need a Superman, good guy hero, we legit need a chaotically good hero. One who does the right thing no matter the cost. Granted, innocents will die. But those who live will be better for it.

I definitely had some moments in Memphis that I chose to call either my dad or his patrol partner to deal with some undesirables behavior. No sense in setting a bad example and cracking skulls.
