Funny, I didn't think that movie had any best parts.
They were filming that in Houston back when I was going to Rice. I worked at Kinko's in the Rice Village, and saw the fake Caprice cop cars they were using. It was fun to watch the movie and recognize the locations. Well, that part was fun. The movie was dreadful.

Agreed. Those two were the only highlights in the film. Interestingly, that was right about the time Blood Sugar Sex Magik was released. That album blew me away, and it still does.

Those highway scenes were filmed on US 290 west of Houston, while they were expanding the original 2-lane divided highway going out to Hempstead. The area has grown exponentially since then. The palm trees in the background of those scenes are laughingly fake.
