How do you like the Flex? I really like the styling, just wish it was a bit shorter, with more of a wagon profile.

We really like it. It drives very well, all 3 rows are comfortable, it is safe, has lots of toys, and has an insane amount of interior room due to its shape (since they didn't go for a short wagon profile). It does everything as well as any minivan, but looks a lot cooler. Also, ecoboost.

The flex could have been so cool with a wagon profile. The ecoboost is a good touch though.

If it could come with a v8 and a rwd wagon profile, Id be damn near sold on it. I think the flex is definitely a certified cool car. I hope you get to enjoy it for a long time!

A V8 RWD wagon Flex would be very cool. Unfortunately, it is not nearly as practical as a V6 FWD crossover, and for knows it. It just wouldn't sell.

As for our enjoying it for a long time to come, we'd love to, but we bought it new four years ago, and have put almost 125k miles on it, so we will likely replace it within a year. Who knows, though. We may just get another Flex.

My Magnum has 144k on it. With some good maintenance, I dont doubt you could double the mileage.

Synthetic fluids, change the trans fluid and some bushing work will make it totally ready for it. All for much less than the cost of another one.

We're not the snobs that buy a new car every two years because we just have to have the new model, but my dad puts on a lot of miles, and usually gets a new car every 2-3 years. This Flex is the longest he's had a car in decades, and by far the highest mileage. We usually sell around 100k. It's not like he thinks cars can't last longer, but they start to have problems (or as he likes to say, "little shit starts to break"), and so he prefers to buy a new car rather than try to keep up an old one because a)it's easier, and b) getting a new car is always nice.
