Just got a 12 bolt axle with posi from the scrapyard. Off some weird, weird, weird optioned truck. I think it was a '77 or '78 half ton, but it had a 454 and a TH475. And a posi rear end. Boring ass brown on tan paint, stock wheels.

Price? $10. I saved the owner a few bucks by ordering some parts online. He does not have the internet, and napa wanted to rake him over the coals. I think It would have been free, but he wanted to grab some beer on the way home. Today has been a good day.

That's a great score indeed! I'd love to swap the 10 bolt in my Camaro for a 12. Any idea of what gears are in it, or are you planning on replacing those anyway?
