Standard trumpet mouthpieces fit right in the bore of most .30 caliber rifles, and sound semi decent when played. I want to start an all-Mosin band.

Do Mosins come in enough barrel lengths? Won't the highest parts technically need a tax stamp for SBRs, or in this case SBRTrumpets? If one goes orchestra size, would it be profitable to use some gas-operated Russkies as auxiliaries, if the gas tube when emptied works like a bagpipe drone? The mind reels.

What I like about oppo is that someone just knows that standard trumpet mouthpieces fit into the bore of most .30 caliber rifles.

I'm fairly certain my 91/30 is like.. 30+ inches of barrel. A 16.5 (for safety) would probably be a high enough pitch.
