Kinja'd!!!

Things have gotten pretty gnarly since last time. There was a lot of loose rust on the pieces, so I gave them a quick rinse.

Kinja'd!!!

Rust has begun to form on the edges of the piece coated in Miracle Paint. Probably wasn't applied correctly there as edges are as always difficult.

Otherwise the clear sealant I'm using is holding up as desired. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

So much science here. Awesome. I will refer to this when I go to undercoat my car.

Loving this. I must do it with a host of things that I'm planning for the Spitfire's chassis.

So far, I've noticed that it's difficult to get POR-15 to stick properly to POR-15 etch-primer. No matter how much I degrease, it keeps getting little fisheyes.

Might be my technique, but either way it's irritating.

You may like Miracle Paint better than POR-15. It's a bit thicker and seems to hold better to surfaces. Otherwise they have the same properties. I get it from the guys at the link.

I seem to remember having tried to get that before, but there's an issue with shipping it overseas (I'm in the UK).

POR-15 has a UK dealer, so I gather they get around some importation laws that shipping myself gets stuck on.
