I actually liked last nights show. I kind of want a GN now. However the ending was another bull shit way to make sure the race car driver got to drive the fast cars. They could have just left it as Adam won and now here's a test of the F12.

That's why I stopped watching. I'm not one of those "TGUK RULES TGUS DROOLS" people, but I was really turned off last season when it became clear that they set it up so Tanner would always drive the reward car, regardless of who "won."

So did I!
A have been completely "MEH" on the show but last night's seemed noticeably better than previous episodes.
Although maybe I am biased because a GN is in my top 3 favorite cars and they were positive about it last night.

That's my problem with the TGUS challenges compare to TGUK, the prize at the end pretty much gives away who is gonna win and almost every time it is Tanner because him powersliding is probably far more entertaining to casual viewers.

I like TGUS a lot, but I agree that they need to stop the false victories so that Tanner ends up in the vehicle. I liked the fuel economy challenge where Rutledge won and did get to "drive" the reward car (King of the Hammers truck) but then they put the stig in it for when it got raced.

Why do they need to compete to drive the race cars?? I like the points system that the old TG did, that added a bit of humor anyways. Why doesn't Tanner just test it out at the beginning of the show, kind of like JC, then they move to the challenge for the 2nd half? Or Rut and Adam could do a traditional a head-to-head on the test track? It would make the challenges more believable and less contrived.
