Your only mistake is not buying more beer.

i sure as fuck wouldn't want him squeezing in between the lines to park next to my car. And since he parked it far from the storefronts, definitely not asshat. Bonus points just for driving it to the store!

Kinja'd!!!2

We did some basic math, we think we can fit at least 300 30 packs in the bed.

Why not? We have plans to drive this thing basically everywhere.

Can that truck support a pool in the back?

That is a good question. I'll do the math tomorrow.

scratch that, just did the math, it can absolutely support a pool in the back.

How about a pole and 10 girls with daddy issues? #importantquestions

Kinja'd!!!1

Guaranteed. Realistically, at least 90 girls and 15 poles. Humans aren't very dense, and 10,000 pounds is a lot of payload. FYI, that's the off road payload. In case you want to establish a mobile strip joint in Moab.

I want to get a HEMTT and make it into a rolling strip club.

1. Had to look up HEMTT

2. Couldn't agree more

Nothing, I'm an idiot and don't know how to use Kinja very well. I was trying to expand the picture but somehow made a comment instead. I'm back from a multi-year hiatus from Oppo so I'm having to relearn how things work around here.

But since I have your attention... I absolutely love the truck! My buddy and I are seriously looking into picking up an M1078 or M1079 to use as an expedition vehicle to take out camping and stuff, and I've got an uncle who wants one of these pretty bad. He's a truck driver for Rentals Unlimited, so if we decide to get one, he will probably jump on a 2.5 ton or a 923 and said he will pick them both up.

I was also wondering where you are at? I see the shopping center is Potomac Place; my buddy lives in Potomac and I'm originally from Frederick, now just across the line in McLean, VA. We're trying to figure out all the logistics of this purchase and the biggest hurdles are where to keep it and how to register it. I've read a few of your threads, and any additional info would be much appreciated.

Now worries. I live in Potomac, the truck belongs to my friend who lives in Poolesville. He just keeps it in front of his house or at our friend's farm, and as far as registering it goes, he has historic plates. I'll ask him for some details and get back to you. I know that he was able to insure it for cheap.

Thanks, I would really appreciate it. I don't get out through Poolesville too much, but I'll have to keep my eyes out for it next time I'm there. Does he ever take it to Cars 'n Coffee in Great Falls, VA? There's a few old military Land Rovers that come out. Would be fun to see that parked next to them.

We actually wanted to bring it to Katie's a few times this year, but we never did. We will when it warms up!
