If I spend >$60,000 on a Luxury car, I won't get the sport packages.
Audi A6:
19" Sport package
19" 5 double-spoke design with 255/40 all-season tires
Three-spoke multifunction sport steering wheel with shift paddles
Sport suspension calibration
Nope. Luxury cars are meant to be comfortable, not jarring. Leave the sport suspension to the sports cars.

No way I'd get the sport package because... those tires are $$$ and don't last as long as regular ones.

I mean stuff like the A8, S-Class, 7-series, Rolls Royce, Bentley. If it is a sports car with luxurious stuff, sport and luxury options are fine. If it's a luxurious car to start with, I wouldn't add sport options.

As much as I'm a little ashamed to say it, I think I have to agree with you. Driving my dad's 12-month old Passat wagon last week reminded me that for most of the time, a comfortable ride is a beautiful thing, and doesn't mean you have to feel like you can't go around a corner.

The only thing I usually want from the Audi sport packages are the black optics and the three spoke sport steering wheel. If I got a new A6 it would promptly get KW V2's (excellent handling AND ride) and HRE wheels.
