The Verano doesn't come with a V6. I think you mean the 2.0L I4 turbo Ecotec.

Well, the Regal's turbo'd 4pot gets more power; 305hp and 325ftlb vs the Verano's piddly 240hp and 260ftlb (pulling numbers from my shitty memory, but I think I'm close).

Not sure I car size was a limiting factor rather than the fact the four cylinder is just *better*

Regal and Verano have the same 2.0T engine. They make about 250 horsepower. Not sure about torque.

They can shove one in the bigger Regal, they've been doing it for years already. 2.8 V6 Turbo with AWD even. And a manual and an optional wagon body. They just don't sell them in the US.
