The Mini, even though it's a BMW product, it'll still be less of a money pit than a Mk IV Jetta Convertible.

Coming from a former Mk1 TT owner, that is crack pipe x1000. 5spd means its the least powerful of the 3 engines and its right around the point where it'll need a new timing belt which is $$$. I'd pay $6500-7000 for that car. $10k MIGHT be worth it if it was a 3.2 quattro, but even then its borderline.

The TT is tempting, but as CrzRsn mentioned it's going to be costly. I'd still take it over the Mini because Audi though, Haha.

Neither at that price. The MINI, if I had to pick, but I'm wary of high-mileage MINIs given what I've seen out of them.

I'm going to be that guy and post my car.

2004 with 90k miles for $9k (this was a year and half ago too). But more importantly, its not FWD.

Is this the Mk1 Mini with the supercharged engine? Anyway, I'd take the mini over the TT. Maybe if the TT had the 225 hp engine and Quattro and/or the "baseball glove" seats.

10k is a crack pipe price for a 13 year old FWD TT.

I would rather keep looking, both are crack pipe. The Mk1 TT with the base engine at that mileage should be about $7500, because you will need about $2500 in maintenance that I sure has not been performed. Once you hit 100K in a Mini you have reached its life span so it is worth $500 to kill at LeMons.

Dat interior though. I can live with the exterior, because you don't see it when you're driving, but it don't know if I could live with an interior like this...

Well everything works and its not falling apart, so its the best interior I've ever had.

Also you're making it sound like you don't like the exterior, can't comprehend.

* I will concede not the best interior for the price, but far from the worst. I.E. 2002 Firebird
