The Chevy Stingray, Chevy Impala, the Camaro with the tricksy magnetic suspension, Buick Regal, and Cadillac CTS-V seem to be a pretty good indication that they already have...

Government Motors still in effect... GM has learned from the politicians to REPEAT broken campaign promises, as if they aren't hollow lies. They haven't learned from their mistakes... but then neither do politicians, either... they've just teamed up in the PR game.
Pardon me if I don't believe a word of it... maybe I'll trust the results when we see them... but people trusted GM before, and cost-cutting ignition switches killed their cars at speed... and promptly killing some of them, too.
That is pretty freakin' serious violation of trust in buying a vehicle claimed to be safe and road-worthy, for tens of thousands of dollars each.

I feel that, and good incentives are why their sales remained strong through this nonsense (both GM and the fact that the media refuses to account for the actions of those that died (I believe both parties are to blame)), and the fact that people can easily tell how much they have improved.

O_o
Are you familiar with Autoblopnik?

I get that Autoblopnik is sarcastic... as am I.
But GM still actually says things like "culture of change" and other hollow lip-flapping that in reality means nothing.
They get bailed out with tax dollars... and continue to do the same crap, without learning the actual lesson, but instead learning from their politician buddies how to speak even more bullcrap than they did before.
Pardon me for not being happy about it. It shows everyone else that you can get away with bullcrap, rather than real consequences teaching real lessons, for real results.

Please be right. I'm tired of this crap. They make their hero cars awesome, but not their econoboxes? why?
![]() 06/10/2014 at 18:14 |

Because "econobox".
![]() 06/10/2014 at 18:20 |

But, how do other companies make their econoboxes actually desirable, while having kick-ass high-end cars?

If only.

It's an illusion - no true econobox is desirable. You buy a Spark because the Corvette has the same Chevy badge and you can't afford the Corvette.
