I'll be moving up there in less than a week for my internship. Any one from the area have recommendations for a 21 year old college kid living in Carson City? I've heard the best part about Carson City is it's proximity to Reno and Tahoe...

I've never been to Carson, or Reno, but I hear that Carson is much nicer than Reno, MUCH NICER. Also, If you ever feel like taking a drive down to Vegas, look me up (I'm in the phone book under Sawnson, or Swinson, or maybe Samsonite)

The question you should be asking is: "Is there anyone at all in Carson City?"
I kid, of course. Well, kind of. My recommendation for anyone in Nevada would be a good desert hoonage vehicle.

I'm guessing its a much cleaner, nicer town, but I'm guessing Reno has better nightlife and stuff. And will do. I might be going down in October for SEMA (maybe?).

For some reason all I think of when I think of Reno is trailer parks and meth. No clue why.

If you like skiing you're right between Mammoth and the wealth of hills in Tahoe... bit of a drive to both though.

Tahoe is close. But it's summer.

Yes, you are correct. I'm sitting here in my trailer cooking a batch of meth at this very moment. There's nothing here in Reno (Northwestern Nevada) that you would appreciate. Don't bother coming here. Thanks!

Lol I knew it! And sorry but Reno 911 has spoiled my outlook on Reno until I actually go there and buy some meth from your trailer...

I used to live there. Reno is definitely where most/all of the night life is so I'd live in a place convenient to the freeway and make some friends there. Downtown Carson isn't too bad as there are a couple casinos and bars. Outside of that there isn't much going on unless you like the outdoors. Plenty of things to do in Reno though, it's a nice area in general. Feel to ask if you have any questions I might be able to answer. What's your internship?
