A co-worker had an old Honda EG hatchback and asked if I could jump it - I pointed to his stick shift and said "hope in and I'll give you a push". Worked like a charm.

I could never push-start my Supra. Took me and 2 police ossifers [sic.] to push it up a driveway once.

if I'm on an incline, I do it. It's for fun. It doesn't really hurt the car, and it's one fewer time to the death of the starter motor
