I have no idea. I was just contrasting modern ugly engines to older more beautiful engines. At least when viewed from above in the engine bay.

I remember watching a video years ago when Ford invited the SHO club to see a pre production SHO, and one voice in the crowd as the hood was lifted "Give us more stuff to powder coat!"
