For those of you who missed the first part and introduction:

For everyone else:

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

My opinion on this car won't be popular and as it's always true pictures don't do it justice, but I don't like the looks of the S-Class Coupé in person either. Just a decade ago Mercedes gave the world the wonderful CLS. And to this day I think this car is beautiful. So assuming that Mercedes knows how to design a car that looks special, elegant and sporty, I ask myself why the design of the Coupé's front has to be this aggressive and bulky?

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Let's move on to something harmless.

The 3.36m of cuteness that are the Lloyd Alexander!

Kinja'd!!!

The engine is as powerful as a box of kittens, but in 1955 when the car was introduced the output of the engine made in !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! was comparable to the contenders of the time.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

It's riding on pizza cutter wheels.

Kinja'd!!!

Speaking of wheels and small cars, this Ford Ka shows us interesting rims too.

Kinja'd!!!

There's not much happening at Suzuki...

Kinja'd!!!

compared to the neighbouring Jaguar stand.

Kinja'd!!!

Maybe this ancient pillar is to blame for the lack of interest in Suzuki's sporty hatches:

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

On the other hand it's difficult for almost all the other manufacturers to beat Jaguar when the center of attention is the F-Type. Even if I wanted to, I can't tell you anything new about it. The F-Type is simply stunning...

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

...and a halo car for a confident brand that is seemingly pushing with a lot of momentum to glory.

Realistically I will never be able to afford one of their flagships like the XFR-S wagon which is competing for the title "Best of show".

Kinja'd!!!

It's a big compliment however that I almost equally lust after their more basic offerings.

Kinja'd!!!

Talking about wagons and drawing huge crowds, somewhere next to the wookie on the left is a RS6.

Kinja'd!!!

The stealthy Panzer grey is a perfect color for the car.

Kinja'd!!!

How about some race cars?

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

I din't show you the backsides of the Ferraris in the last article. This has to be rectified.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

The picture on top of this article is showing you the best thing about the Audi Quattro Laserlight Concept. The original Quattro isn't famous for its beauty yet the rear of the spiritual successor is, dare I say it, a bit ungainly.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Still, I'd want one because the front is nearly perfect. Fresh and modern while gloriously clunky and simple like the original.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Sticking with Audi, here is a distant ancestor of the Laserlight Concept:

Kinja'd!!!

I completely forgot to take a picture of the information table next to the car, but I think it's the 2-door variant of the Horch ("Listen", in Latin: "Audi") !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! build in the 30s.

Kinja'd!!!

I'm admittedly not a huge fan of this era in terms of automotive design...

...although the details are almost a work of art.

Kinja'd!!!

Leaving the realm of old money and taste, we are confronted with what the VAG believes is the lifestyle young people are prefering these days. The Amarok Canyon, now with the optional DJ-desk and resident turntablist. The crowd wasn't convinced.

Kinja'd!!!

Maybe Ford understands young people better. Is the fantasy-guy thinking about dragoning the Focus right on the spot?

Kinja'd!!!

It's time to show you my personal highlight of the show. Although expensive supercars and stunning concepts were plentiful, one comparatively cheap Opel stood out. The yellow and white color scheme is reminescent of the Opel racing heritage and the meaty wheels give the car a muscular look. A couple of weeks ago I found !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! in the wild and while a bit bigger than the Kadett B the C is still a small pony car with all the necessary design treats to make me want it nearly as much as any American V8.

Kinja'd!!!

Despite the sporty appearance the Opel is sadly equipt with an automatic which undoubtedly will rob it off a lot of the fun while tossing it around. In my dreams I would swap this of course.

Kinja'd!!!

And another picture because the car is so epic that even Lene liked it!

Kinja'd!!!

Like the Amarok-DJ I'm confronted with the question of how to continue this set after a highlight like this. I bet the Viper will do the trick just fine...

Kinja'd!!!

Who cares whether it rides like a bag of pebble stone and will disintegrate on your way home from the dealership when it looks this good just standing still?

Kinja'd!!!

Arguably the art of looking fast while parking was perfected in the 30s with cars like the Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic or this small !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! (Eagle) Roadster.

Kinja'd!!!

The dashboard and steering wheel are magnificent.

Kinja'd!!!

And how is this for a badge?

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

I bet you never saw the following badge.

Kinja'd!!!

Build by the TU (Technical University) Dresden the InEco Project is an electric 4-seater weighing just 900kg with a range of 140km and a top speed of 160km/h. It's a purely experimental concept and there is no intention of producing it.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Ok, I'll end this post here and tease you with a cliffhanger. I will continue tomorrow.

Kinja'd!!!

Until then, why don't you read !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ?
