I think my favorite mid-sized might be the new 200... am I wrong for thinking it's a good entry into the category?
The Fusion is definitely a close second though.

I like it quite a lot, but would ONLY buy it in Black. Same as the old 200. Same as 300. Same as Town and Country.

Black is my top choice for any car. But dat blue doe.
![]() 06/06/2014 at 20:46 |

The Blue is really convinving. But the Black is also one of my top choices for stealth. I adore stealth. But cleaning Oliver, man, its hard.

DAT POLLEN TINT.
The Vue looks terrible right now. It's almost grey.

My girlfriends dad has a car wash, so im happy.

UGH LUCKY.
My girlfriend's dad fixes car washes. He used to have a free code, but the changed how the system works so no more code.

The time I spent in one at the NY Auto Show left an impression, it's in a boring segment, sure, but it's a REALLY nice car. I like the little details that Chrysler's designers are putting in their cars, like the Detroit skyline in cubby under the center console.

I love all the little "Eastereggs" in Chry-iat's cars. The Renegade has a ton of them.

Haha, she gave me full exterior detailing, interior wash, and engine clean packages for my birthday as one of my gifts! Shes awesome.

Duuuuuude. Too bad my car's in such bad shape it isn't even worth cleaning.
It's okay though, a new (to me) car is in the really soon future apparently. Grand Prix GTP, here I come!

I think it has a good chance to be the best mid-sized sedan, but I can't say it is until I drive one. The Fusion (Titanium) is really good. If the 200 feels as good as the Fusion and is more luxurious, it will be the best.

ITS HAPPENING!

Saw one in person on the road yesterday and DAYUM sexy.

A black 200S was pulling into the Dodge dealer when I was driving by earlier, I was staring at it so much I almost crashed into the car in front of me...
![]() 06/06/2014 at 20:59 |

HELL YES.
![]() 06/06/2014 at 21:01 |

I would've forgiven you. luckily, I was a passenger! My dad was very confused by how excited I was to see one on the road.
![]() 06/06/2014 at 21:05 |

I've seen one IRL, and I love it's swoopy lines.
Right now, it's my 4th favorite midsize sedan after
1) Passat 2.5 SE (5-speed!)/ V6 (I'm a VW fanboy, so yeah..)
2) Fusion 1.6 Ecoboost (6-speed)
3) Mazda 6
![]() 06/06/2014 at 21:08 |

Yeah, luckily I had a passenger in the car. My insurance would've doubled today if I hadn't have.
![]() 06/06/2014 at 21:10 |

I want to love the 6, I really do. But I can't get over that there isn't even an option for an engine that breaks into 200 horsepower.
![]() 06/06/2014 at 21:10 |

WORTH IT
![]() 06/06/2014 at 21:10 |

...Yeeeaahh... It would've been.
![]() 06/06/2014 at 21:11 |
|
GTP? dude, that's a fast car!
![]() 06/06/2014 at 21:13 |
|
that is an issue, but it handles like a much more expensive sedan...
Same goes for the 170hp Passat, and because 5-cylinder
![]() 06/06/2014 at 21:14 |
|
Either that's a GXP V8, or the 3800 just sounds like fucking motorized sex.
I'm hoping GTP, It'll probably end up being a GT if my mom has any say in it. If she never knows about the supercharger though...
![]() 06/06/2014 at 21:18 |

heheh, then it's a no go?
Just don't pop the hood, since you'll be greeted with this:
![]() 06/06/2014 at 21:20 |

"IT STILL MAKES LESS POWER THAN YOUR CAR WITH IT THOUGH"
That's literally the only argument I have.
![]() 06/06/2014 at 21:22 |

say it's unsafe to have less, and cite your van as a source!
If she asks for MPG's cite the van
![]() 06/06/2014 at 21:27 |
|
I think you've already proven yourself crazy by professing your love for FWD Monte Carlos :)
And the Fusion looks WAY better IMHO.
![]() 06/06/2014 at 21:30 |
|
I'll just cite that her first car had a 350ci V8. Mind you it only made 200 horsepower, but a ton of torque.
I could cite and of our 3 cars for MPG. The Saturn gets horrible MPG for some reason, the truck has a pushrod V8 under the hood so, and the van...well.
![]() 06/06/2014 at 21:31 |

FWD BURNOUTS YO. You forgot to mention my love for any W-body with a lot of power (read Pontiac Grand Prix GTP/GXP)
I can't get over the Aston grille on the fusion.
![]() 06/06/2014 at 21:31 |
|
exactly, plus, cite that Pontiacs are safe, reliable patriotic and hip/cool
![]() 06/06/2014 at 21:34 |

And above all else, a GM product that will last til the sun burns out.
![]() 06/06/2014 at 21:36 |

seriously though...
What's that saying about the 3 things surviving a nuclear apocalypse?
"Only 3 things will survive the imminent thermonuclear war; cockroaches, Twinkies and the GM 3800 II engine
![]() 06/06/2014 at 21:38 |

That sounds about right. And maybe the LS V8s

I love this ad!
![]() 06/06/2014 at 21:41 |

Best Chevy ad ever IMO.
![]() 06/06/2014 at 21:43 |
|
Seriously? There is only one answer.
![]() 06/06/2014 at 21:43 |
|
I consider the Grand Prix love far less crazy. At least they look good. Those Montes look like fried shit.
Aston grill is the best part of the Fusion. As far as I'm concerned, Ford bought and paid in full for that.
![]() 06/06/2014 at 21:46 |

Can't into 184 horsepower. And I'm not much a fan of the Kodo design.
![]() 06/06/2014 at 21:47 |
|
They had so many other grille designs they could've done though.
I will commend them for not putting a black plastic insert in there ala Camry
![]() 06/06/2014 at 21:53 |

As an owner of a black car, don't
![]() 06/06/2014 at 21:56 |

Just remember everything we say we say with love. But seriously you'd sacrifice a clutch pedal for more WWD horespower in a heavier midsizer that costs over 4k more? Breathe Sean, just breathe. Ok now that I got that out. To each his own and all that pretending that I don't think my opinion is better than everyone elses modern internet kumbayah. Styling I won't fight you because that is always a personal thing. If you do like it better though for power and driving that's cool. My last free advice: test drives. You might end up caring about more than numbers.
![]() 06/06/2014 at 21:58 |
|
Considering I can't drive manual, yes, yes I would sacrifice a manual for more horsepower.
![]() 06/06/2014 at 22:05 |
|
Even more reason to buy one! That's cool though. You should buy a beater miata or something to learn stick in and get the 200 for your sensible car.
![]() 06/06/2014 at 22:06 |

I actually had to watch some training on this car today so I know a lot about it now. I just need to get behind the wheel of one. Anyways, it's quite a fine car. The awd system is pretty awesome as well. When in sport mode it actually has a rear bias, and the awd also comes on when the wipers or on low or high. It also has a great interior. The only thing I'm not sure of with it is the base tigershark 4 cylinder.
![]() 06/06/2014 at 22:08 |
|
Yeah, I would have to try the Tigershark before I could judge it. The 3.6 is promising though.

Owner of a black car: Its worth it.
![]() 06/06/2014 at 22:48 |

I already like you. The only proper color for a 300 is black.
![]() 06/06/2014 at 22:59 |
|
Great minds think alike :)
What color do you think a Miata looks best in?
![]() 06/06/2014 at 23:13 |
|
I want to say red, but I saw one in brown that looked surprisingly good. Toss-up between the two.
For most cars though, I go with black.
![]() 06/06/2014 at 23:34 |

Red OR BRG with Orange Interior. Thats my pick.
