But the 650S will never look as good as the 12C did. I'm currently catching up on the /Drive on NBCSN special, and that thought keeps creeping across my mind.

I agree. I've seen a 650S in person and it looks a lot better, but it still looks a bit off.

This bit on the 650s makes me shudder (for what it costs)

Supercars are in general not stealthy and maybe they aren't supposed to be depending on what you want them to be. But I think the 12c is relatively restraint and almost elegant in a "quiet color" while the 650S' front tries too hard. And trying hard is never cool.
