I stumbled onto this !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! a few days ago, and coincidentally had a boo at the garage a couple of weeks ago only to see it's true. It's gone.
I met the owner of the garage 4 or 5 years ago. Nice guy with a good size collection of some drivers and many in lesser states. Most notable are an R5 Turbo Rally Spec. in Rothmans livery, a Facel Vega II, and a pair of DS wagons.
He's not a hoarder. We discussed the fact that he wanted rid of the convertible, but never came to a price as I don't have a garage or storage for it.
It was rough with an interior just this side of a ragged. No outstanding rust though.
Thread says:
I put a collector/buyer from Belgium together with this seller. The car has now had a complete restoration and is in his extensive Bertone collection. Guy Vermont is his name.
What do you guys think it went for?

Why is it that every single obscure/rare euro car that isn't quite yet a "greatest hits" classic in the US seems to be in NJ?!
